Mission, Vision, Values

  • We believe in the inherent right to knowledge and its liberating powers. Social and economic factors, for too long, have impeded people’s access to education and its respective institutions that can mobilize their lives.

We are compelled to empower those who are in direct contact with children, creating a community of educators and life-long learners that ensures that everyone has access to quality education to allow them to express freely, to connect to technology, and to bridge the gap between themselves, society, and governance.

  • By 2025, we aspire to be influential pioneers in the advancement of a civil society founded on the principles of progressive education and positive social change.

  • We operate with a feeling of urgency, but we also realize that lasting change necessitates long-term investment in those who live and work closest to the challenges. As a result, we are focusing on developing civil society at all levels by encouraging involvement from people with varied backgrounds and life experiences. In addition, we work together with governments, the private sector, academia, and the creative community.

Our culture is characterized by trust, healthy discussion, and leadership that fosters innovation and excellence. We endeavor to listen and learn, as well as to be role models of openness and transparency. We are accountable to one other, to our charter, to our sector, to the organizations we assist, and to society at large—as well as to the rules that regulate our nonprofit status.
